We share your values.
At the core of our work is a desire to create a greater good in the world through gatherings and our every day actions.
This shows up as prioritizing work with clients and vendors whose values (and practices) align with our vision for an equitable and inclusive future for all.
These values are ones that we do our best to bring into our lives fully—both personally and professionally—and include:
Radical Hospitality
We believe magic and meaning are made around a table — and there is always a seat for everyone at ours. At Greater Good Events, hospitality is not just service; it’s a radical act of welcome, care, and belonging. We create environments where people feel safe, seen, and celebrated — not in spite of who they are, but because of it.
We actively reject systems of oppression, racism, colonialism, and exclusion — and our events are one way we work toward something better. That commitment shows up in who we partner with, how we design our spaces, and the choices we make at every level of planning. This kind of hospitality builds trust, fosters connection, and creates the conditions for real transformation — one gathering at a time.
Rooted in Why
Nothing we do is accidental. Every decision — from the arc of your event to the texture of a table linen — is grounded in a clear why. We lead with purpose, guided by curiosity, care, and a commitment to designing experiences that matter.
We ask hard questions, embrace thoughtful constraint, and push back on "the way it’s always been done" in favor of solutions that are more sustainable, inclusive, and impactful. From sourcing vendors to shaping timelines, we believe even the smallest choices hold the power to move us toward something better. Our clients trust us because we’re rigorous, not rushed — and because beauty without meaning isn’t enough.
Care in Every Step
Care is at the core of how we operate — not as a sentiment, but as a standard. It lives in our timelines, our decision-making, and especially in how we communicate. We believe that clarity is a form of care: direct, thoughtful communication makes the process smoother, the relationships stronger, and the work more effective.
From welcoming guests to managing vendors to briefing our own team, we aim to create ease and mutual respect at every touchpoint. Care is present in how we anticipate needs, hold space for feedback, and adapt when things shift. It’s not a layer we add — it’s the throughline that holds everything together. When we lead with care, we build better events and better relationships — one step at a time.
With Joy, Always
Joy isn’t a bonus — it’s a baseline. It’s how we stay connected to purpose, possibility, and each other.
We find joy in solving complex problems, in crafting unforgettable experiences, and even in building a beautifully organized spreadsheet. From the first brainstorm to final breakdown, we look for moments of play, surprise, and celebration.
Even when the work is hard (and it often is), we ground ourselves in the belief that joy is necessary. It's what keeps us curious, connected, and committed to doing it all. Because without joy, what’s the point?

Creativity is at the heart of how we challenge systems that no longer serve — and how we build something better in their place. For us, creativity isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s about reimagining what’s possible in an industry that too often relies on extractive practices, limited perspectives, and outdated models.
We are creative in how we design — pushing for events that are not only beautiful, but also intentional and impactful. We are creative in how we plan — learning, adapting, and problem-solving to deliver thoughtful, customized solutions. And we are creative in how we collaborate — engaging our clients and partners not as passive recipients, but as co-creators with a vital role to play.
This kind of creativity is not chaotic; it’s clear-eyed, values-driven, and grounded in deep expertise. It’s how we resist the status quo while building something more inclusive, more sustainable, and more meaningful, one event at a time.
Upholding our
committments
We are committed to deconstructing and working against racist and white supremacist systems in our personal and professional praxis. This includes regularly attending workshops and learning sessions focused on antiracism and deconstructing white supremacy. We also maintain a relationship with an external Coach to support our growth and work.
If we ever say or do something that upsets you, please let us know! We promise to make a deep investment in our working relationship with you and make every effort to fix it. For concerns related to equity, inclusion, and antiracist practice, please email accountability@greatergoodevents.co and we will bring these items to our external Coach to process.
